CallPilot Dongles
Software feature dongle:
The dongle is a small button/battery like security device that stores the unique server serial number required to validate the Keycode. Occasionally, it might be necessary to clean and reseat the dongle. The following pictures show its location for various server types.

Keycode and serial number:
In the Configuration Wizard, confirm a 'Serial number from software feature key' is shown (detected), and that it matches the 'Serial number' entered. The keycode will only validate when these numbers match. The Dongle ID & Keycode are on the Software Licence Certificate/Keycode sheet. DO NOT lose it! When replacing a CallPilot server, remember to move the dongle to the new server.
