Phantom DN's

Use the following slides as a guide to create the IP Office equivalent of a Phantom DN, eg: a way to unconditionally redirect (forward) a number to a group call or other service. This function is software only, requiring no hardware. Repeat for as many numbers as required. The settings are mergeable, and do not require a reboot.

1. Create a new User with the required incoming digit string

2. In the Forwarding tab, check 'Forward Unconditional', enter a Forward Number

3. Click OK, and select None to NOT create a VoIP extension for this user

4. File ➤ Save Configuration, it will Merge without requiring a reboot
