PM5 Call Party Name Display (CPND)

The Call Party Name Display (CPND) feature displays names (associated with the Directory Numbers) of called and calling parties on telephones with alphanumeric displays. These names can be added or modified from the Call Party Name Display menu option in the Administration Menu.

Add A New CPND Name To A Directory Number:

1. Choose Administration From the Main Menu.
2. Choose Call Party Name Display from the Administration Menu.
3. Enter the directory number you want to add the New CPND Name to in the Directory Number box in the Call Party Name Display section.
4. Add a Last Name and First Name to the Telephone in the Call Party Name Display section.
5. Select the required display format in the Display Format section. The Display will show how the name will appear on the alphanumeric display of the telephones with displays.
6. Choose the Save button to upload the new name to the telephone system. The Save Timing dialog box will appear. You may upload the new name immediately by choosing the Save Now option, or at a scheduled time by choosing the Schedule Save option and selecting the appropriate schedule from the list.

Modify An Existing CPND Name On A Directory Number:

1. Choose Administration From the Main Menu.
2. Choose Call Party Name Display from the Administration Menu.
3. Select the telephone you want to modify from the Directory Numbers list.
4. Modify the Name in the Call Part Name Display section.
5. Choose the Save button to upload the new name to the telephone system. The Save Timing dialog box will appear. You may upload the new name immediately by choosing the Save Now option, or at a scheduled time by choosing the Schedule Save option and selecting the appropriate schedule from the list.

Find CPND Names Associated With A Telephone Or Directory Number:

1. Choose Administration From the Main Menu.
2. Choose Call Party Name Display from the Administration Menu.
3. Choose the Find button in the Telephones section. Use the Find Telephone screen to locate the telephone.
4. Choose the OK button to update the Telephones list with the search results.
5. Select the telephone in the list. The Call Party Name Display section updates to display the Call Party Name of the telephone and its display format.

Delete A CPND Name From A Directory Number:

1. Choose Administration From the Main Menu.
2. Choose Call Party Name Display from the Administration Menu. 3. Select the Telephone from the Directory Number list.
3. Choose the Delete button.

Setting The Telephone System Time And Date:

1. Choose Maintenance from the Main Menu.
2. Choose Time And Date from the Maintenance Menu.
3. Ensure that the Local PC time and date is correct - use the Windows Control Panel to change the PC’s time and date if necessary.
4. Choose the Synchronise button to set the System Time And Date to the Local PC Time and Date.
