SX-50 Software Module Identification

This Technical Service Bulletin is intended for Customer Service and Installation Personnel involved in the service of MITEL (TM) SX-50 PABX. This bulletin provides information regarding identification of the SX-50 Generic Module.

This bulletin is designed to aid service personnel in determining the difference between the 2 and 5 prom SX-50 (TM) PABX Software Modules.

2.1 NEW BATTERY ON 2 PROM MODULE

The MS53/54 2 Prom Module has a clip type Lithium cell where the 5 Prom Module has the three prong plug in type Lithium cell.
