Pin-outs

Short pin 1 to pin 3
and pin 9 to pin 11

RJ48C, 8 pin modular
Short pin 1 to pin 4
and pin 2 to pin 5

Remote loop-back test

Perform each command in the order listed. Start at system 'B', Step 1 and so on. Move to System 'A' to perform
step 4, and so on. This procedure assumes that PRI is used. Do not use LD 96 commands when testing a DTI.

Red = Local, 'Right Here'
Yellow = Distant, 'Out Younder'

Alarms from cable faults

Red Alarm:
• Receive pair open
• Receive and transmit pairs open
• Corrupted data on receive pair

Yellow Alarm:
• Transmit pair open
