Vacant Number Routing

With Vacant Number Routing (VNR) enabled, if an unassigned number is dialed, the call is not treated as invalid, but instead routed to an alternate location. If the number remains unresolved, vacant number treatment is given at the terminating location. VNR is a way of sending vacant number calls to the NRS (via IP trunks) for end-point resolution, or to a tandem PBX without Building a Co-ordinated Dialing Plan (CDP).

Note: the NET_DATA block (Networking) overrides the INT_DATA block (Intercept Treatments). For example, when VNR in the NET data block is set to YES (and configured with an RLI), the call no longer follows the CVTN setting in the INT data block. If VNR is NO, calls follow the CTVN entries.

LD 15: NET_DATA - VNR is prompted only if FNP package (160) is equipped.
