IP Office Introduction

The IP500 and IP500 V2 are stackable (2U) units with an optional 19" rack mounting kit, or optional wall mounting kit for smaller configurations.

The IP Office 500 V2 officially replaced the IP Office 500 V1 in January, 2012. The systems are nearly identical, but the V2 provides support for Combo cards, and uses an SD card for licenses and voicemail instead of a smart card. The IP Office 500 V2 can support up to:

Front

▶ 4 slots to house a mixture of extension and VCM cards:

▶ Optional trunk daughter card support:

VCM Cards provide Voice Compression Resources, and are required when the system is equipped with IP Phones, VoIP or SIP trunks, to provide compression between TDM and IP.
