Option 11 E&M Trunk Card
Configuration Example

Introduction

The following example shows how to configure a Nortel PBX Option 11 E&M Trunk Card, eg: NT8D15, to connect to a Cisco E&M voice port.

Hardware and Software Versions

To implement this configuration, you need the following:

Circuit types:

E&M trunks may be type 1 or type 2, two-wire or four-wire, immediate, wink, or delay dial start.

Cross-connect:

A 25 pair line card cable is presented on BIX as follows, with 4 pairs per trunk interface:
