Nortel IP Phone - MAC Ranges
A 'Media Access Control' (MAC) address is 6 octets (48 bits) long, and comprises two parts:
eg: 00:11:22:33:44:55
- First 3 octets: Organizational Unique Identifier (OUI)
A 24-bit number that uniquely identifies a vendor, manufacturer, or other organization. - Second 3 octets: Network Interface Controller (NIC)
A 24-bit number that uniquely identifies the network interface controller address.
