G450 Media Gateway
The G450 Media Gateway is a 3U high, 19" rack mountable chassis, with field-removable Supervisor Main Board Module, Power Supplies, Fan Tray, DSP resources, memory, and eight Media Module slots for boards supporting T1/E1, ISDN-BRI, WAN interfaces, digital or analog telephones and analog trunks.
G450 w/MP80 Features:
- 8 media module slots: V1 thru V8
- 1 to 4 MP80 DSP modules, supporting 80 to max. 320 VoIP channels
- Single power supply unit; supports additional redundant power supply unit
- Full support for Avaya IP and digital sets, analog devices, eg: modems, fax machines, and telephones
A G450 chassis supports the following media modules:
- Up to eight telephony modules: MM710, MM711, MM712, MM714, MM714B, MM716, MM717, MM720, MM722.
- Up to three WAN modules: MM340 and MM342 (v4 does not support MM340, MM342).
- One S8300 Server.

MM710 T1/E1 Media Module

MM710B T1/E1 Media Module

The Avaya MM710B T1/E1 Media Module terminates a T1 or an E1 connection to either private enterprise network trunks or to trunks to the public network.

The Avaya MM711 provides features and functionality for analog trunks and telephones.
Avaya MM711 Features:
- Any of the 8 analog ports can be configured as:
- Loop start or ground start CO trunk
- Wink start or immediate start analog DID
- 2-wire analog outgoing CAMA E911 trunk
- Analog tip/ring port for devices such as single line telephones (2500) - Supports LED message waiting indication
- Supports incoming caller ID (ICLID)
MM712 DCP Media Module

The Avaya MM712 Media Module allows you to connect up to eight two-wire Digital Communications Protocol (DCP) voice terminals.
Avaya MM712 Features:
- Provides 8 modular ports for 2-wire digital (DCP) telephones

MM714 Analog Media Module

The Avaya MM714 provides four analog telephone ports and four analog trunk ports.

- Any of the 4 trunk ports can be configured as:
- Loop start or ground start CO trunk

MM714B Analog Media Module

The Avaya MM714B provides four analog telephone ports and four analog trunk ports.
Avaya MM714B Features:
- Any of the 4 trunk ports can be configured as:
- Loop start or ground start CO trunk
- 2-wire analog outgoing CAMA E911 trunk - Any of the 4 analog line ports can be configured as:
- Wink start or and immediate start analog DID trunk
- Analog tip/ring port for devices such as single line telephones with or without LED message waiting indication - Emergency Transfer Relay (ETR) - Provides ETR services by connecting trunk port 5 and line port 4
MM716 Analog Media Module

The Avaya MM716 Media Module provides 24 analog ports supporting telephones, modem, and fax. These ports can also be configured as DID trunks with either wink-start or immediate-start.
Avaya MM716 Features:
- Provides 24 analog telephone ports
- Supports LED message waiting indication
- Also supports wink or immediate-start DID trunks
- Supports Type 1 Caller ID
MM717 DCP Media Module

The Avaya MM717 Media Module provides 24 Digital Communications Protocol (DCP) ports connected through an RJ21X amphenol connector.
Avaya MM717 Features:
- Supports simultaneous operation of all 24 ports
- Each port can be connected to a 2-wire DCP telephone: 2400, 6400, and 8400 series
- Does not support 4-wire DCP telephones
MM720 BRI Media Module

The Avaya MM720 BRI Media Module contains eight ports that can be administered either as BRI trunk connections or BRI endpoint (telephone and data module) connections.
Avaya MM720 Features:
- Supports up to 8 BRI interfaces or up to 16 trunk ports (ISDN S/T)
- Information is communicated over two 64-kbps channels (B1 and B2) and over a 16-kbps channel (D-channel) for signaling
MM722 BRI 2 Port Media Module

The Avaya MM722 Media Module provides two 4-wire S/T ISDN BRI (Basic Rate Interface) 2B+D access ports with RJ-45 jacks. Each port interfaces to the central office at the ISDN T reference point. Information is communicated in the same manner as for the MM720.
- The MM722 media module does not support BRI stations or combining both B channels together to form a 128-kbps channel.
MM760 VoIP Media Module

The Avaya MM760 Media Module is a clone of the motherboard VoIP engine. The MM760 provides an additional 64 VoIP channels with G.711 compression.
Avaya MM760 Features:
- Provides capacity for 64 simultaneous G.711 TDM/IP calls, or 32 compression codec, G.729 or G.723, TDM/IP simultaneous calls
- Requires its own ethernet address and a 10/100 Base T ethernet interface to support H.323 endpoints for Definity IP trunks and stations from another G700 Media Gateway
