TALC Multi I/O cable

For TALC cards only, the multi I/O cable breaks out 2 network ports, and one serial port, from an IPE slot 50-pin Amphenol (RJ-21). The standard cable is approximately 30cm (1ft) long. If you can't find the cable, use the pin diagram below to construct your own!

Note: TALC network ports are 10/half-duplex. Therefore, the data-switch port needs auto-negotiate unchecked, and 10/half set.

TALC IP configuration

P1 - TALC slot on PBX I/O panel
P2 - Connects to ELAN (EN0)
P3 - Serial console port (SDI)
P4 - Port is Not Used (EN1)
P5 - Station cross-connect/MDF

In P3, loop pins: 1 to 4 (DTR-DCD),
4 to 6 (DTR-DSR), 7 to 8 (RTS-CTS)
