Meridian E&M TIE programming
NT8D15 E&M Trunk Card (4 port)
Remember:
E&M analog routes (LD 16) are generally type TIE
E&M analog trunks (LD 14) are generally set as:
- immediate start - STRI: imm | STRO: imm
- 4 wire - SIGL: em4
- type 1 - EMTY: ty1
- No supervision (E&M does that!)
Problems with tie's are usually due to Mux programming differences, some sites may use wink start for example. Mux and PBX signaling must match! Change both STRI and STRO (start arrangement incoming/outgoing) as appropriate, eg to WNK for wink start, IMM for immediate start.
Print "Route data" in LD 21, "Trunk data" in LD 20.
