IPE Rear Connections

Cabling an IPE Module (NT8D37) or Media Gateway:

An IPE Module, or shelf, has 16 card slots.

• If the IPE shelf contains a Controller card, the slots are numbered: Left: 0-7, Right: 8-15 (same shelf)
• If the IPE shelf contains an MG XPEC card, the slots are numbered: Left: 0-7 (shelf 0), Right: 0-7 (shelf 1)

Note: MGC card slots are numbered from 1 to 10, MGXPEC card slots are numbered from 0 to 7.

The card slots correspond to the following rear panel 25 pair amphenol connections. Each connector is cabled out to the MDF.
