202i re-image Checklist

Use the following checklist when replacing a 202i hard drive.

Proceedure:

  1. make screenshots of the keycode and PBX config in the Configuration Wizard
  2. while in the Configuration Manager, also make a screenshot of the SDN table

  1. an external DVD drive will probably need an external power supply, as a 202i often doesn't supply enough
  2. if you want to make a USB thumb drive, it needs to be no bigger than 4GB, and prepared with DISKPART
  3. it's VERY SLOW to boot up! Patience!!

  1. Copy the SU115 and G05C patch files to CallPilots d:\temp directory
  2. Double-click the SU115 .msi file, and click OK, do not reboot when prompted
  3. Double-click the G05C .msi file, and click OK, reboot when finished

  1. Visit the control panel and set the ELAN IP address to restore from a network drive.
  2. A local disk example E:\\<folder>
  3. A network disk example \\<ipadd>\<folder>

  1. Enter the keycode, and confirm the TN settings and IP addresses
  2. SKIP LANGUAGE INSTALLATION as they're included in the full system backup you just restored
  3. The config wizard will force an Administrator login password change: WRITE IT DOWN!!
