Changing a LINE Name
To enter a programming session, follow the next few simple steps:
1) Press FEATURE * * 2 6 6 3 4 4
2) Enter Password: 2 6 6 3 4 4
Display will read: " Terminals & Sets"
Using the navigation keys, as displayed below, follow the next simple steps:
3) Press: NEXT
Display will read: "Lines"
4) Press: SHOW
Display will read: "Show Line:_ _"
5) Enter the line number you wish to re-name. Example: 001(Line 1)
Display will read: "Line 001:Line 001"
6) Press: SHOW
Display will read: "Trk/Line data"
7) Press: NEXT
Display will read: "Name: Line 001"
8) Press the CHANGE softkey
Using the dial-pad, press the button associated with the letter you wish to be displayed. For example: If you wish to name the "MAIN1", you would simply press the 6 key on the dial-pad until the "M" is displayed. To advance to the next letter, press the "#" key.
Once you have the new LINE NAME displayed, press NEXT to save it.
To exit the programming session, press the RLS key.
Congratulations! You now have learned how to program a Line Name!
